Located in the Historic French’s Opera House, Riverside Theatre Works is part of a vibrant community of restaurants and community businesses. We can’t wait to welcome you upstairs to see a show!

Parking

On-street parking is available in the theatre vicinity (please observe restricted signage, as you may be towed for parking illegally). Parking is also available in the bank parking lots across the street and down the street during the banks’ non-business hours.

House Open

Doors generally open half an hour before show time.

Once Inside the Theatre

Pick up your tickets at the Box Office

Whether you call or order online, your tickets will be waiting for you at our lobby's Box Office - on the left at the top of the stairs.

Esmeralda's Lounge

Purchase alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, along with chips and candy snacks, at our lobby lounge named for RTW's most famous inhabitant. Esmeralda's is open before events and during intermission. You may bring your purchased food and drink into the theatre to enjoy at your seat or table. Please note: Outside food and beverages are not allowed and you must be 21 years of age or older to purchase alcohol.

Seating

For most events, house seating is divided into cabaret style tables set closer to the stage and theatre seating in rows further from the stage. Tables range in seating from 4 to 8. Some events, such as youth musical theatre productions, have theatre seating only.

Restrooms

Men's and Women's restrooms are available in our lobby to the right at the top of the stairs.

*Accessibility

Please note: Riverside Theatre Works is located in an opera house built in the late 1890s, and is not presently handicapped accessible. The theatre lobby rests atop a long staircase. Please contact us if you're interested in helping with a capital campaign to fund accessibility improvements.
